FAQ

Answers to the essentials

Still unsure? Find the most common questions about booking, the flow of play, and technical requirements.

How much time should we plan?

Expect 2–3 hours for the full story. You set the pace, and at certain stops it can be worth staying a little longer for additional activities.

How difficult are the puzzles?

The Path of the Lion Ring is designed to help you experience Munich interactively. It's not an escape room packed with tricky riddles. By uncovering the solution words you learn the city's stories and anecdotes – no complex logic games included.

What time of day is best to start?

We recommend playing between 9am and 5pm. Technically you can play any time, but some locations close after 5pm.

Do we need a guide on site?

No. The web app walks you through the entire rally at your own pace.

Will we get food or activity tips?

Yes! You'll receive recommendations for restaurants and other interesting spots along your route.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your 72-hour timer only starts once you open the first station. Pause whenever you like or shift to a second day if the weather turns.

Do we need prior knowledge or specific language skills?

The rally is currently available in German and English and works without any prior knowledge. All hints, audio, and puzzles explain themselves.

How does payment work?

Checkout runs via Stripe. Right after payment you'll receive your team code by email and can start immediately.
